Task: Chart a course to each of wisconsin's 127 public use airports. Each leg of the flight must be flown using only dead reckoning. Each leg must take no more than 40 minutes. No airport may be flown to more than once.

REality: You will attempt these flights in class, during specified time, during time you have available, and time you come in outside of class. These will be flown successfully before January 15. All flights will take place in current weather conditions.
Constraints: 1. Cessna 172 for each flight unless otherwise approved. 2. You may not fly to the same airport twice. 3. each flight must be according to vfr rules. 4. all flights must be successful, i.e. no crashes. 5. all flights are solo (flight plan is completed as a group) 6. all flights must be recorded in a logbook - (click here for an online logbook) 7. all flights must be part of one large saved flight in fsx.
steps: 1. Create a paper copy of your flight plan showing headings and distances between each airport, ETA's for each leg based on 100 knots speed.
2. Using the same computer each time, use flight simulator to create a flight. After each leg of the flight save your flight. All successful landings will appear in your log book.
