IED final Exam - on your own you will be creating a device to test the age-old question, "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?"
Aside from creating a device to test and evaluate the question you have a wide range of questions that need to be answered. Some of those questions are: What to use as the "tongue?" What is a good substitute for saliva? What is the center of the tootsie pop? How long is the average tongue? Does tootsie pop flavor matter? how will you count the licks? what constitutes as a lick? ????
Your project is wide open, with the exception of a few constraints: 1) "Tongue" cannot be a human or other animal tongue. 2) "saliva" cannot be from a human or animal.
